I am SO pleased that you have now told people that advertising will be removed. IMO the latest two posts have been totally inappropriate.

It would be nice to see more people writing appropriate posts, though! I'm not sure why the forum isn't being used. Is it because everyone comes to the meetings so don't feel the need to post on here as well?

I feel that this could be a good place for people who can't easily get to the meetings to keep in touch with other members. Also, there is always a buzz at the meetings which shows that people are enjoying socialising so why does it have to stop there? Some of the conversations could be carried on via The Forum instead of drifting away to be forgotten by the next meeting.

This page has been set up so that we can communicate with one another so lets do it!

I couldn't get to the Christmas Party as I was visiting a dying relative in hospital on that afternoon (visiting was limited and we had to be there between 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm.

As I was unable to see you all at the party, I'd like to now wish everyone a Merry Christmas and send my best wishes for a good 2024.
