There doesn't seem to have been any activity on here since August 4th. I'm just wondering where everyone has gone and hope all are keeping well. I hope to join in the online meeting this afternoon so may get some answers there.

Have you all been getting whatever medical support you need during the pandemic? I have been extremely fortunate and our doctors have been fantastic. No problem getting telephone appointments followed by face to face appointments where necessary. One time my cough had worsened so I was sent to the 'Hot Spot' at the bottom of Brodrick Road in Hampden Park and was give a thorough ' MOT' resulting in a change of antibiotics and more prednisolone. No COVID thank goodness.

My only 'problem' at the moment is that the Pred has stimulated my appetite big time and I've gained half a stone! But I am REALLY enjoying my food!! Anyone else experience this when they are on steroids? It's the first time it has affected my appetite so much. When I was on the higher dose I was awake for 2-3 hrs a night and trawling through the kitchen cupboards for things to eat! I've nearly finished tapering off now so sleeping better again and not eating QUITE so much.

Well, I hope to see some of you this afternoon, or at least some posts on here. Kim and co. have done a great job at setting up this forum for us and it's a shame it's not being used very much.
